Training and Leadership Development Is One of The IACP’s Overarching Goals
One of the IACP’s major long term goals is to provide training and leadership development not only for law enforcement executives, but for law enforcement officers at all stages of their careers. In his long career in law enforcement, Donald DeLucca has shown a strong commitment to training of officers as law enforcement needs change due to demographic changes and advances in technology.
IACP Believes in Top Tier Training for a Changing Law Enforcement Landscape
As the role of police executives evolves, it also becomes increasingly complex due to changing security requirements, information collection and analysis advances, and transformation of business, social, and police environments. Law enforcement executives today must serve a diverse population and must make the absolute most of their resources to meet needs. DeLucca’s extensive experience will allow him to tackle these challenges with real solutions for real law enforcement officers.
Training the Next Generation of Chiefs of Police Is Critical Too
Today’s line officers, specialists, and commanders are tomorrows police chiefs, and the IACP believes in both online and in-classroom training opportunities that will help the next generation of chiefs of police be as effective as possible. Police leadership and management support are among today’s most pressing issues, and training opportunities for police at every level are critical to ensuring that these issues are addressed effectively. Your vote for Don De Lucca IACP Fourth Vice President is your vote of confidence in meeting the needs of this and the next generation of law enforcement leadership
