Chief De Lucca has been progressive in meeting the challenges of policing in today’s environment. He is a strong supporter of police training to develop the skill sets of his officers. He believes in the building of future leaders within his agencies through focused learning tracts. Along with employee development component, he has overseen the creation of tactical responses to numerous special events, embraced diversity within the agency and at the staff levels. He has made police accreditation a priority for his personnel.
Additionally, Chief De Lucca has been given the opportunity to provide Leadership Training and 7 Habits for Law Enforcement Training to police departments throughout the United States during his career.
